Nikau Palmatum was founded in 1990 by Steven Harlen (NZTCH, Dip Hort).

Steven has extensive experience in the landscaping and horticultural arena, having worked and studied both in New Zealand and overseas.

Nikau Palmatum has grown to become wellington’s largest privately-owned landscaping and gardening company.
